Voicemail

Audix is where you will record your name and administer your personal voicemail greetings.

To access Audix, please dial:

7444 from on-campus phones

(540)362-7444 from off campus or cell phones

Dialing Instructions

Campus Calls: Dial the four-digit extension. (e.g., 6000 for (540)362-6000)

Local calls: Dial 9 + number.

Long-distance calls: Dial 9 + 1 + area code + number. Wait for the tone, then enter your seven-digit long distance billing code.

International Calls: Dial 9 + 011 + country code + city code (if applicable) + number. Wait for the tone, then enter your seven-digit long distance billing code.

Commonly Used Features

Transfer a call: To transfer a call, your phone must have an available call appearance button. If all your call appearance buttons are in use, end or park one of your existing calls.

  1. Press Transfer. The current call is automatically put on hold.

  2. Dial the number for the transfer.

    1. To complete the transfer, press Complete while the call is still ringing or after being answered.

    2. If the transfer destination does not answer or does not want to accept the call, press Cancel.
